Hey you guys, gals & every f*#?ing body else!

Thanks for checking out our new band GIANT HAZE. We are looking for a label and ways to promote our music – we also love to play live gigs! Our first album COSMIC MOTHER is currently in the mix with Ulf Nagel (Smoke Blow etc) – all previously unreleased material and ready to go – packed with 11 songs totalling around 44 minutes. If you asked us what kind of music we play, we’d say “90s stoner rock”. We are deeply influenced by the stoner / doom / desert rock / grunge / sludge / space rock scene of the 90s. This was the time when classic 70’s vibes (from legends like Black Sabbath, MC5, Cream, The Doors) were combined with modern sounds to create unique bands that crossed the borders between rock, punk and metal… like Kyuss, Monster Magnet, Fu Manchu, Acid Bath, Type O Negative or Danzig.

Our lyrics often tell personal stories, but we also point the finger at our imperfect system, which often regulates diversity and tends towards nationalism. We are happy to say that Giant Haze is 100% anti-racist & anti-facist.

Giant Haze was founded in 2024 by veterans of the Northern German DIY/Stoner/HC-Punk scene. We have played some pretty awesome gigs with Giant Haze – and 100dreds of gigs with other formations. We also have a fun side project called “KaiS.” which is actually a pretty energetic KYUSS cover band (played at Wilwarin and One Louder! festivals). We are/were active in various bands over the past 30 years, such as Bonehouse, Vladimir Harkonnen, Mosquito Jack, Nuisance of Majority, State of Value, Mørder, just to name a few.
